cross-review documentation
cross-review (npm package @tlelabs/cross-review) is a skill pack from TLE Labs for Claude Code and Codex, released under the MIT license. The agent you work with writes the plan and the code. A second model, the Codex CLI today, reviews them. The agent fixes or answers each finding, and the reviewer checks again, until it approves or the two sides reach a stalemate that you decide.
Install it with npx @tlelabs/cross-review.
The two roles
Section titled “The two roles”- Orchestrator. The agent you talk to, Claude Code or Codex. It writes plans and code, runs the review skills, fixes the findings it accepts and answers the ones it disputes.
- Reviewer. A second model, started by the review skills in the background. It reads the plan or the diff, runs tests and commands to check its claims, and reports numbered issues with a verdict. It does not change project files.
Each review is a session. The first round is the reviewer’s first look. Each later round is the orchestrator’s reply and the reviewer’s check of it. Core concepts explains the terms used across these pages.
The six skills
Section titled “The six skills”Claude Code runs a skill as /name, for example /review-impl. Codex runs it as $name, for example $review-impl.
